Baby showers are filled with smiles, fun, endless laughter and memories. It's a wonderful time to capture some of many laughs and memories for the parents-to-be. This can be done in many different ways. They can include everyone invited to the shower or just a few close friends or family members.
The main objective is to keep it fun. Having a baby is a wonderful experience and filled with unforgettable memories. Be creative in whichever way you decide to capture and save memories.
FRAMED PHOTOS
Pictures from the shower can be framed in unique frames for the guest of honor. You can find a wide variety of frames that are perfect for shower memories. Taking a picture of everyone attending the shower makes a wonderful memorable picture.
BABY SHOWER SCRAP BOOK
Another great way to involve everyone invited to the shower is to plan your last activity around everyone help prepare the scrapbook for the guest of honor. Scrapbooks come in so many different colors, themes and sizes and shapes. Once you have picked out the scrapbook make a stop by the local craft store and pick up a selection of ribbons, small letters, colored paper and baby novelties (bottles, rattles, booties ect.). Assign someone to take pictures during the shower from the time everyone arrives throughout the entire shower. Pictures can be printed on a computer in minutes and ready for assembling a very memorable scrapbook.
BABY SHOWER PHOTO ALBUMS
Another great way to capture memories is with a photo album. Like scrapbooks photo album come in a very wide variety of theme's, colors sizes and shapes. A simple collection of photos from the shower makes a very nice gift for the guest of honor.
BABY SHOWER MEMORY BOOK OR BOX
A memory book can be made for the parents to be. These make a wonderful gift for the new baby on the way and the parents too. Collecting the memories can be done in a couple of different ways.
One way is to have everyone attending the shower write down a favorite memory they have of the mommy, daddy or both. Giving the guest a little time to consider which favorite memory they would like to share with the new baby so letting them know ahead of time is really appreciated. You may also want to ask the grandparents and best friends of both parents to be for a memory to include.
There are a couple of ways to save the memories. One way is in a scrapbook. Saving the memories in a scrapbook will allow you to put frames around each one and/or decorate with colors and other novelties.
The other way to save the memories is in a box. Boxes can be found in a variety of sizes, shapes, colors and materials. They can be locked boxes, tied closed with a ribbon or just have a top that seals tight but simply lifts off.
BABY SHOWER CD
These days you really don't have to be a computer wiz to put together a beautiful CD of memories. With CD's you can incorporate all of the ideas above into one collection. If you are not able to put everything together yourself there are plenty of photo shops and computer shops that will do the job for you at a very good price.
To insure you don't miss any part of the shower you should have one or two guest bring their video recorders to the shower and set them up to capture the going's on in a different room or from a couple of different angles. When the shower is over you can download all the information from all the memory disks onto one CD for editing or creating a whole new CD.
